Conditions of Hire

Bookings can be confirmed by paying $800 deposit by cheque, money order or direct deposit. Full payment required 6 weeks prior to commencement of hire.

 

Bond
$1500 Cash, payable on boarding. Refunded by mail, less fuel costs. Additional fees will be charged for late return &/or extra cleaning if not left in a neat & tidy condition. Damage & loss will be charged for at cost. Insurance claims will be made at the discretion of the owner.

 

Cancellations
Where cancellations occur and we cannot re-book the craft for that period, we reserve the right to refund at our discretion.

  • Boarding time is 3:00pm. Disembark by 10am.
  • The person responsible for the hire of the craft must present a current boat or car licence & be at least 21 years old.
  • Instruction will be given in handling the craft.
  • The number of persons on board must not exceed 12 by Maritime regulations.
  • The boat must not be driven at night
  • No pets, firearms, axes, chainsaws, candles or trail bikes
  • The owner or manager reserves the right to refuse any person or persons the use of the craft
  • No smoking inside the boat
  • A Terms & Conditions of Agreement for Hire document will need to be signed on arrival. A copy of this can be sent to you prior to departure, if requested.
